Book Recommendations

Big Data is a very new technology. Some aspects are not perfectly understood yet. If you want to get more insights how Big Data is influencing our lives today and what can go wrong by using it, I can recommend the book "Weapons of Math Destruction: How Big Data Increases Inequality and Threatens Democracy". Very easy to read.

In case you fell in love with data modeling, you may want to read one of the fundamental books of Data Warehousing "The Data Warehouse Toolkit".

Porter's 4 Forces

Hello everyone in the Business Analytics community - We are Porters 4 Forces, because we don't  need the fifth, slowing us down. We are old, we are strong, we are here to win. Here is a short  introduction of our team members: Jay I am Jay Kim. I am married to a Thai. Felix Hallo, my name is Felix. Feel free to talk to me about travel in Asia/Pacific, fußball (or as you ...

Don't hurt my Ego-network! A network is made of nodes - the individuals in a network (e.g people, objects etc.), and edges - the connections between these nodes. There are man...
