We've had a long meeting yesterday, came up with some interesting insights, and almost jumped out the window while working on the dimension tables...now it seems to have calmed a bit :) but you never know...the week is not over yet, not to mention assignment II due on weekend! Updates soon!

Big Data is a very new technology. Some aspects are not perfectly understood yet. If you want to get more insights how Big Data is influencing our lives today and what can go wrong by using it, I can recommend the book " Weapons of Math Destruction: How Big Data Increases Inequality and Threatens Democracy ". Very easy to read. In case you fell in love with data modeling, you may want to read one of the fundamental books of Data Warehousing " The Data Warehouse Toolkit ".
